Let’s go to MONKEY PARK, TENERIFE with kid(s) !

Hi guys … Breakfast – checked, Teeth – brushed, Mood – excellent, Sun – shining … Are we ready for Monkey Park ? … Of course … Monkey Park it is! So a few info about the park. It’s situated in Arona.  It’s less than 5 minute drive from the centers of both Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas. Described as the “biggest little zoo in the World”, the Monkey Park Tenerife is an international breeding center for endangered species of primates. Where this zoo differs from others on Tenerife, and worldwide, is the fact that you can actually walk through the monkeys cages and feed them and all the animals you see in this zoo, and you will quickly see that each animal has its own favorite food. So at the entrance you can buy a box of food appropriate for animals and feed them ( 3 euros). They eat apples, carrots, pees, corn … ( of course Tin was surprised : And bananas ? ) – no, it’s forbidden to feed bananas to monkeys.

Hello ekipa … Doručak – checked, Zubi – oprani, Raspoloženje – na vrhuncu, Sunce – visoko i prži … Jesmo li spremni za Monkey Park? … Naravno … Hop hop u Monkey Park ! ( Tinu baš i nije bilo najjasnije : A banane ? ) – ne, zabranjeno je hraniti majmune bananama.

Monkey Park houses a great collection of monkeys, with many different species on display within the park.

Monkey Park je dom velikom broju majmuna različitih vrsta.

Lemurs are only naturally found on the island of Madagascar. At the Monkey Park on a sunny day, you can often see these ring-tailed lemurs sunbathing in their “sun worshipping” sitting position. They sit with their arms outstretched and heads back to maximize exposure to the sun.

//

And that’s it … Monkey park adventure over … we’re off to the Playa de las Americas beaches to enjoy the rest of the day, buy some souvenirs and pack our bags 😦 . We have a flight tomorrow early in the morning that takes us back to Zagreb reality. This really was a great experience and a lovely destination with great people. Tenerife we really do love you, and we promise to come back one day to look around all the things we didn’t have enough time for. And there really is much more to see and explore in Tenerife. This really is a paradise destination. Lots of kisses and hugs from this parrot paradise.

//
